ROLE OVERVIEW

This Senior Project Manager will oversee two impactful projects. One focuses on consolidating data into an all-in-one platform and another is a transition to a loan servicing platform. Someone who has been technical in the past and/or has worked directly with software engineers is needed for this role to come in and ramp up quickly.

**This is an onsite position in NYC. Please apply if you are comfortable and able to go into the office 4-5 days/week**

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a Senior Product Manager, Back End Lead, and Software Engineers to define and align on product roadmap
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams that address development and integration of new systems and platforms both internal and external to company
  • Document, maintain and communicate business and/or IT processes, workflows standards, policies and procedures
  • Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
  • Assess risks and establish contingency plans
  • Coordinate functional overviews, trainings, demos, exploration sessions with exec, staff and more

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Preferably experienced in Agile concepts, establishing a product roadmap, and maintaining a product backlog
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
  • Proven ability to learn new platforms, systems, processes and industries in a short period of time for ramp up
  • Strong communication skills and building rapport quickly
  • Strong MS Excel Skills
  • Proven experience analyzing and documenting systems and processes
  • Experience working directly with software engineers (bonus if previously was a software engineer)
  • Experience working within the multifamily lending industry and its associated technologies and platforms is not required, but a huge bonus!
