Security Specialist - Anti-DDoS & Web Application Firewall (WAF)

Location: hybrid ( Solihull / Belfast) 

contract length: 12 months

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage robust anti-DDoS strategies.
• Deploy and optimize Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions.
• Lead incident response and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor threats, conduct analysis, and propose innovative solutions.
• Train teams on security best practices in DDoS and WAF.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Proven experience with DDoS mitigation and WAF management.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, DDoS/WAF).

Skills:

• Expertise in DDoS attack mitigation and WAF policy optimization.
• Strong incident response and web app security knowledge.
• Familiarity with OWASP principles and common vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
