Assignment description

The Technical Manager (TV' er)/ VOIP specialist draws up the technical design and maintenance frameworks for building blocks and contributes to the SIP accessibility so that the can continue the migration to VOIP.

The primary objective is to operate the infrastructure and provide ICT Services in such a way that the wishes and requirements of the customer can be effectively met and implemented as efficiently as possible. The activities are carried out within the Telephony cluster. The Telephony Cluster translates the services into an appropriate building block structure and architecture. With this building block structure and architecture, services are provided to the Defence customer.

Requirements

  • The candidate has 3 years of proven experience as a technical manager, senior engineer or architect within the IPT, VoIP, UC and Contact Centre portfolio. Experience gained over the past 15 years.

  • The candidate has 3 years of demonstrable experience with the functionality telephony as a technical integral part of ICT in organizations with a minimum company size of > 1.000 employees. Experience includes implementation, scale, interfaces, availability and the Real Time Aspect of telephony services. Experience gained over the past 15 years.

  • The candidate has 3 years of proven experience with Cisco UC, Contact Centre and Cisco network components. Experience gained in the past 15 years.

  • Availability of the candidate at least 38 hours per week

  • Candidate has at least an HBO degree, technical direction — you have technical experience so its fine

Wishes

  • Candidate preferably has demonstrable experience with ICT migration networks and voice projects within the telephony portfolio and demonstrable experience of the telephony market. Experience gained in the past 15 years.

  • Candidate preferably has demonstrable experience with CISCO IPT, Contact Centre and control room systems. Experience gained in the past 15 years.

  • Candidate preferably has demonstrable experience with CISCO network/voice equipment. Experience gained in the past 15 years.

  • Candidate preferably has demonstrable experience with KPN's business processes and network. Experience gained in the past 15 years.

  • Candidate should preferably have demonstrable experience in setting up IPT/VoIP environments for organizations within the commercial and/or civil sector with similar (security) issues, e.g. at large banks or insurance companies, police, defense. Experience gained in the past 15 years.

  • Candidate preferably has a degree in Tele Informatics for open systems, MSc training.

  • Candidate preferably has a WO (university) degree, technical direction.
