Senior Frontend Engineer – Global Data Infrastructure

We are currently recruiting for Senior Frontend Developer to join a Ground-breaking organisation specialising in Data Infrastructure.

They have enabled their users in fields, such as electrification, healthcare and agriculture to channel investments, run projects and measure impact. They're currently integrating different data streams such as satellite imagery, survey data, sensor data and predicts outcomes and allows teams to collaborate.

Their software is used by some of the biggest organisations in the world such as ; The World Bank, USAID, KFW, various governments, as well as businesses in Nigeria, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Colombia, Pakistan, Mozambique, and many others.

VIDA is supported by appliedAI, Germany’s largest AI initiative, and by the European Space Agency (ESA).

 

Requirements:

• You have at least 3 years experience in front end development. Having worked in a start-up or fast growing environment is a plus. Experience in working with map-based platforms even better!
• Your eye for style and your ability to create intuitive user experiences is what makes you a great engineer
• You're familiar with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript and Angular framework. We always encourage our team to make pragmatic suggestions about our frontend tooling
• You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
