Senior Business Analyst (Lead of MDM) – €Multi Billion Ecommerce Company – Munich (hybrid)

We are recruiting for a global leader in the Ecommerce sector, who is headquartered in Munich and is currently searching for a Senior Business Analyst who will lead their Master Data Management practise. The business is flourishing more than ever before, they had €2.14 billion in turnover last year and are on target to hit €2.65 Billion in 2022.

They owe their success to their innovative technology-driven approach to software development and data-driven decision-making. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving this practise and modernising their use of MDM, whilst following current GS1 standards. The focus will be on automation which should result in continuously improving the digital processes to ensure integration and synchronization of information across the entire global business.

This is a mission critical role, where you will in the 3rd tire of management, for business with over 900 employees. You will be working with stakeholders from across the business and will report into C-Level. You will have the luxury of working with a highly skill technology team who use the latest tech & tools, you will also conduct workshops & training session to drive change and adoption of the latest trends in the MDM space.

We are looking for someone who is Fluent in both English & German, as you will be required to attend and host conferences, as part of the company’s continuous involvement in the tech community and drive to be leaders in this space.

Requirements

• A degree in business informatics or business administration or suitable experience
• More than 4 years of experience with business process analysis, master data management and data governance.
• You are a team player and can work with colleagues from with skills and experience levels
• Proven track record and attitude as someone who is driven, goal-orientated and has strong analytical skills
• You distinguish yourself as a goal-oriented and analytically thinking person with a "can-do" attitude and an agile way of working
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Experience with MS Office product (especially MS Excel)
