Senior Backend Engineer (Python) – Private Search Engine & Browser – 100% Remote

We are actively recruiting for a growing Private Browser and Search Engine Provider that is searching for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their global team.  The company was founded by two Tech Entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley who both have built an incredible career in this domain and are launching the first version of their Search Engine they developed in partnership with Microsoft’s Bing Team.

The business initially created a VPN which took the world by storm and led the organic growth of the company after creating $40 Million last year! This is a great opportunity to work with a team of experts who have come from some of the leading tech companies in the world.

They are searching for a Senior Backend Engineer you will be focusing on optimization, scalability and development of new features for the backend. The responsibilities also ensure security, performance and best practices. You’ll have the opportunity to be working with the latest cutting-edge technologies such as; Python, Golang, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, ECS, Terraform, Github & GRPc.

You will be expected to explore the latest trends, technologies and methodologies as part of their journey to dominate this market.

Requirements:

• Professional experience building microservices & APIs using Python
• Strong understanding of Micro-Services architecture, Web Servers & Containerization technology
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical, architectural and organizational problems
• Drive and motivation to create innovative, cutting-edge solutions
• Experience solving performance and optimization problems
• Fluent English (proficiency in other languages is welcomed as they have truly global team)
