QA Chapter Lead (Manager) – €Multi Billion Ecommerce Company – Munich (hybrid)

We are recruiting for a global leader in the Ecommerce sector, who is headquartered in Munich and is currently searching for a QA Chapter Lead who will manage and improve QA practise across all of their 40 different engineering teams. The business is flourishing more than ever before, they had €2.14 billion turnovers last year and are on target to hit €2.65 Billion in 2022.

As a QA Chapter Lead, you will be working with a mature team of QA’s who have work in Cross Functional development teams. You will have both managerial and technical leadership responsibilities. You will work with all the department heads and report into C-Level.

My client is dedicated to pushing the boundaries on all technology fronts, you will be working with teams who are building cutting-edge software using the latest Cloud-Native technologies. You will have the freedom to impose your own ideas and introduce the latest trends into their QA division, which currently consists of over 45 QA engineers.

Tech Stack in engineering: Java (Spring boot), Kotlin, Python, React, Selenium, Cypress, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and many other tools and frameworks.

Requirements:

• 10 years or more experience working as a QA/ Test Engineer (focus on Automation)
• Over 3 years of experience managing QA teams (ideally over 15 team members
• Strong experience & knowledge of programming and QA strategies
• Sound understanding of business domains and ability to create business goals into working solutions and practises
• Experience working in diverse cultures and open mindset with strong social skills.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Motivational and proven leadership skills
• Ideally having experience in the ecommerce, retail or high-traffic consumer facing environments
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with peers at all levels in the business
• A strategic and goal orientated mindset, with a keen eye on vision and growth.
