.Net + BI Developer

Summary Description: My client, a government organisation, is looking for a BI + .Net Developer to come on board and take responsibility for the development and management of ETL processes, as well as updating the data warehouse.
Role Type: Freelance contract
Start Date: ASAP 
Location:  West Netherlands

Requirements Description:

As a BI developer of the Windows team, you are responsible for developing and managing ETL processes and updating and updating the data warehouse. Actively involved in creation of new data flows and disclosures and are consulted as a data specialist. Additionally, you are also able to write .NET code.
 
As a member of the Scrum Team able to spar with your fellow team members, the PO and stakeholders regarding technical choices and their impact. Where necessary, you help the team with testing functionality and releases.

Essential Skills:
You have at least 3 years of demonstrable experience with and good knowledge of:

  • T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Data warehouse concepts / architectures

You have experience with the .NET framework:

  • C#
  • ASP.NET
  • Entity Framework / LINQ

Desirable Skills: 

  • You have an affinity with education
  • You have experience in collaborating using project management software such as Microsoft TFS or Azure DevOps
  • You have experience with SSRS for developing and managing reports
  • You have experience with SSAS and MDX queries
  • You have an affinity with data visualization
  • You have experience working in a Scrum Team
