Labware LIMS Techno Functional Manager Perm January Start Hungary

IT Application Expert & Project Manager is primarily responsible for operation, support and continuous improvement of his/her application domain of expertise, he/she leads and manages projects within his/her application portfolio closely partnering with the respective business application owner and other IT delivery teams. He/she is in charge of documentation management in his/her area and its alignment with corporate policies.

He/she is responsible for complying with the committed project budget, timelines and quality requirements as well as with the overall IT strategy.

He/she performs other tasks under the direction of the manager within the agreed type of work.

 

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Operational Excellence

    1. Oversee and manage operations and maintenance of owned application portfolio
    2. Monitor and ensure service delivery and operations within defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)
    3. Adapt the application portfolio to evolving IT standards and technology evolutions
    4. Continuously improve the performances to provide the right services with the right quality at right costs – help to define and execute appropriate action plan
    5. Provide specialized system knowledge and actively contribute to resolution of incidents with company Service Desk and 3rd party providers
    6. Take responsibility for the technical resolution of incidents, reacting quickly to limit impacts and resolve the issue
    7. Liaise with internal IT teams and external providers on bug fixes and solution enhancements
    8. Prioritize individual incidents and ensure resolution in line with SLAs and quality standards
    9. Define and document operating procedures, new functionality and scope of development or customizing
    10. Deliver documentation to agreed standards, on time and error free
  1. Customer Relationship
    1. Maintain relationship and regular communication with the respective business application owners
    2. Propose functional and technical expertise to solution design and troubleshooting, ensuring the user needs are understood, proposing business process improvements or evolutions, participating to functional specifications and workload evaluations
    3. Cross-training and presentations for colleagues and business key users
    4. Delivering user guides and support documentation to business key users

3. Project Management

    1. Apply and follow Company IT project management methodology
  1. Within owned application portfolio
    1. Contribute on definition of project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with all stakeholders
    2. Identify the expertise and skills required for the project
    3. Facilitate and orchestrate end-to-end project development while setting and continually managing project expectations with the project team, vendors involved in the project and other stakeholders
    4. In cooperation with other IT colleagues and suppliers, implements, tests and accepts provided solution / improvement
    5. Track project timelines, milestones, budget and deliverables
    6. Ensure project compliance with legal, regulatory requirements and with internal recommendations and standards (quality, security, architecture, etc.)
    7. Work in and contributes with other project teams providing technical and some business support for the respective domain of expertise and owned application portfolio

 

 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years practical experience with multi-sites Labware LIMS environment in pharmaceutical industry (mainly area of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, R&D area experience is an advantage)
  • Good knowledge of the process related to:

– Lot management (in relationship with SAP integration)

– Stability management

– Enviromental monitoring

– Instrument management and integration

– Reporting in Crystal reports

– System administration + Citrix + ORACLE/SQL DBs

– Experience with Labware support structure (Knowledge track, Labtrack, Devtrack etc.)

  • 2-3 years experience with Labware Pharmatemplate and ELN and it's implementation
  • Labware Admin I. certification at minimum (Pharmatemplate and ELN certification is an advantage)
  • Experience with programming and/or database languages, basic experience with Windows Server administration
  • Experience dealing with users and/or clients from both a business and technical perspective
  • Experience how to work in a Project and Support role
  • Ability to come up with innovative solutions in defined area
  • Good written and verbal communication ability to listen and cooperate with other people
  • Good organizational skills and time management including the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
  • Ability to investigate and analyze problems and propose solutions / improvements
  • A practical, methodical and structured approach to work
  • English language (spoken / written) on at least upper-intermediate level (B2)
