Kafka/JAVA/TIBCO Messaging expert – Switzerland – Contract – Start ASAP – Remote

Next Ventures seeks a Kafka, TIBCO or Java messaging expert to work on a long term engagement based in Switzerland.  This contract can be delivered remotely.

Skills and experience required:
 
 Very Good knowledge in Java and solid hands on experience:

·           messaging API (Kafka and other like IBM MQ, Tibco EMS would be a plus) experience/background

·           excellent knowledge of software integration design patterns and proven experience in this area

·           Hands-on with Public Cloud (IaaS, PaaS) and Infrastructure as Code having developed tools and scripts to build base VMs, containers and OS configurations inclusive of security best practices and middleware/platform installation and configuration

·           experience working in Microsoft Azure or other similar.

·           good understanding of protocols like AMQP, JMS etc.

·           experience in implementing various automation solutions around middleware infrastructure

·           excellent knowledge of Unix, including scripting (example: python).

·           good interpersonal skills the role involves coordinating activities with resources and communicating clearly to SME's and Application developers.

·           worked with various developer tools (like: Eclipse, Ant, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Gitlab)
