IT Infrastructure Administrator – Energy trading – Munich – German Speaker

We are currently helping an Energy Trading company in Munich who are looking for an Experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator with both Networking and Infrastructure experience.  

As part of the digitization of their company, their focus is currently on optimizing the existing system landscape and developing an innovative customer platform. For this purpose, they operate high-availability systems in the trading area and a modern technology stack in the cloud environment used by 70 of the largest names in the German Energy domain

You will work in a dynamic team who are supporting the company’s entire IT and Software Development functions and will work with the latest tech such as AWS, Office365, VMware and Microsoft Windows Server (170 servers).

Required experience:

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship or a degree in IT.
• In-depth knowledge of the administration of Microsoft Windows Server systems and VMware environments
• Sound network knowledge (TCP / IP, routing)
• Ideally also experience in the field of firewall and IT security
• Experience in analysing, diagnosing and resolving disruptions in the infrastructure
• Strong communication skills and service orientation (fluent in German & English)
• Reliability, commitment and flexibility
• Knowledge in the Linux area rounds off your profile
