Next Ventures is a successful and rapidly growing technology recruitment specialist headquartered in London and with six international subsidiary offices. To support the continuing growth of the business we are now delighted to announce the need for us to hire a Head of Training / L&D.

Experienced IT Recruitment Trainer

We are looking for an experienced trainer to join Next Ventures and support our successful sales team to develop their skills, careers and smash their personal goals.

This trainer will head up a training department overseeing and supporting a headcount of 60+ recruiters across multiple offices in London and Amsterdam. They will be responsible for evaluating our organisational, team and individual needs, reviewing our current practices and delivering entry level through to leadership training programmes. Using our existing and extensive library of content you will have access to all you need to be able to join and immediately jump into a proactive training role.

Travelling between London and Amsterdam you will have the autonomy to create your own strategy, schedules and goals for this growing and critical part of the Next Ventures business.

Role overview

  • Assessing and communicating training needs across all levels.
  •  Working on a 1-1 and group level off and on desk to drive results and develop all our sales professionals from entry level up.
  • Running academies by delivering training, supporting new academy hires and doing on and off desk coaching.
  • Tracking and compiling data to assess effectiveness of delivery, results and approach.
  • Implementing and supporting a consistent approach to leadership across Team leader and Director level through creation of frameworks, process and coaching.
  • Creating training strategies, initiatives, and materials to respond to our growing needs and goals.
  • Maintaining a database of training materials and evolving key subject areas to encompass a wider variety of content and materials.
  • On boarding new hires by assessing immediate training needs and outlining mid to long term support.
  • Facilitating daily training interactions across the sales floor by scheduling regular programmes of work for common needs at each career level.

Experience Required

  • 3 years previous experience as a trainer within recruitment.
  • Ideally experience as a technical recruiter on either a perm or contract desk across UK and Europe.
  • Strong and assertive communication with all levels of management.
  • Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently.
  • Able to analyse problems and strategise for better solutions.
