GCP Lead – UK wide, Manager & Senior Manager

My client are the UKs market leader in Technology, Strategy and Architecture. They are actively investing in their Hyper Scalers practice and have a strategic relationship with Google to help them develop their GCP offering. They are hiring Managers, Senior Managers and Directors to deliver on a pipeline of €200m worth of work in addition to help them further their capability in this space.

They are looking for talent with the following skills:

 

• Experience in building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly-distributed, fault-tolerant and scalable Google Cloud based solutions
• Application modernisation and hybrid cloud experience using Anthos.
• Must have a good understanding of enterprise-grade container orchestration via managed Kubernetes 
• Experience in architecting and designing solutions leveraging Google Cloud services including Bigquery, DataFlow, BigTable and Pub/Sub
• Good understanding of Google Cloud AI Platform and AI building blocks (Dialogflow, AutoML tables and Pre-trained API models)
• Hands-on experience in using Terraform/Deployment Manager to provision infrastructure as code
• Must demonstrate competence in understanding and implementing key Google Compute, Storage, Network and Analytics offerings
• Must have a good understanding of Google Cloud security model and Google security products· Competence and hands-on experience in atleast one programming language (Python, Node.js or Java) 

Nice-to-have

• Google Cloud Professional Architect certification
• Experience in Google Cloud API management platform – Apigee
