Job Description: Finance Manager

The broad and evolving role of the Finance Manager role based in our London headoffice encompasses but is not limited to the following duties / expectations:

  • Reporting to and Assisting on an ad-hoc basis the Group Finance Director.
  • Day to day Line responsibility, training and mentoring of team
    • Management Accountant
    • Assistant Management Accountants (x3)
  • Group Management Accounts
    • Full P&L, balance sheet and consolidation responsibility
    • Preparation and review of group and subsidiary management accounts including:
      • Board reports, commentary, KPI reports, variance and trend analysis
    • Reviewing and publishing Group Flash and forecasts.
    • To add value and evolve the quality and standards of reporting
    • Business partner with the senior management team to deliver financial objectives
  • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Supporting the FD with the preparation of the annual budget
    • Rolling 90-day forecasts
  • Group Treasury
    • Daily cashflow consolidations and forecasts.
    • Management of the invoice discounting facility
    • Ensuring sufficient cash reserves are available at all times.
    • Monitoring foreign currency exposures and requirements
    • Working capital management, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Staff payroll
    • Review staff payroll including commission and bonus calculations
    • Pension and taxes reconciliation and submissions
  • Invoicing and contractor payroll
    • Leading the reconciliation of the pay and bill processes
  • Other
    • Leading group and subsidiary audits and corporation tax calculations
    • Review all Group VAT returns
    • Liaising with all Group advisers and external consultancies
