Description:
Our clients global development team is changing their data landscape by democratizing the use of APIs to facilitate the consumption of data stored in their AWS-hosted data lake. The aim is to build fault-tolerant APIs using AWS infrastructure components as building blocks. We strive to build API endpoints based on logical entities using state-of-the-art frameworks. Therefore producing designs that makes sense from a domain/business perspective implemented using the right technologies is key for this assignment.

Main work task:

Design and implement enterprise ready APIs in AWS using our newly build data lake as primary data source. Participate in discussions on technology choices and establishment of best practices in API development . This role requires hands-on development (most likely in Python). Solid understanding of databases is a plus.

Experience:

Experience in developing secure and scalable APIs using Docker, Connexion, FastApi or similar Python-based API development framework is highly valued. Experience with any of the following is also of interest:

• Open API 2.0/3.0
• Python 3
• PostgreSQL
• AWS ECS
• AWS Cloudformation
• AWS Lambda/SAM
• AWS Cognito
• AWS APIGateWay
• Azure AD/ JWT
• CICD preferably using Azure DevOps
• Flask /WSGI

6 months contract 

Location Soberg , Denmark.

Ideal consultants will be based in Denmark currently or be local i.e. Malmo ,sweden etc ,and not face any restrictions for returning to client site , or a consultant that would be open to relocating to Denmark with very limited travel back to there home country , so not return home each week thus avoiding potential self isolation requirements as a result of Covid-19 guidelines being implemented.
