Agile Coach

Agile Coach (testing), 18 months, Netherlands (Fully remote), €80-85 per hour 

Start date: 1-1-2022
End date: 1-7-2023

We are looking for an Agile coach to work remote on an 18 month contract working with multiple teams to improve agile focused Testing.

Within our customer, some 25 agile teams within 5 domains are now active. The Agile coach has an important role in the development of these teams and the management of various teams. For the time being, they are using a mix of internal and external coaches for this purpose. Internal coaches are active under the guidance of a number of external coaches. The number of internal coaches is still too limited and has too little experience to meet the full demand. The ambition of this department is that the teams will grow in maturity and that the total coaching needs will decrease.
Within this business unit, three external coaches are currently implementing a coaching plan to bring the 5 internal coaches in training within these teams up to standard. One of the coaches will be leaving the business in January. In the meantime, the teams have been helped quite a bit. One of the next steps is to help the teams with setting up the task to do quality (automated)  testing in an agile environment. So we are looking for a specific agile coach with experience in guiding the Agile teams in the field of testing, chain testing and test automation.

Tasks and skills
– Coaching starting scrum teams, team members, management and stakeholders in the area of testing, test automation and chain testing;
– Training and coaching internal staff as agile coach especially in the area of testing  
– Training and coaching internal employees in agile testing roles (e.g. PO, SM, RTE, PM)
– Ensuring an Agile mindset;
– Provide unsolicited and requested advice to management on developing Agile work;
– Learn and assist in the Agile further development to program level within Benefits: optimize demand management; organize Benefits-wide PIPE planning sessions
– Explicitly work on the preconditions for Agile:
– Open and honest feedback culture.
– Empowering teams.
– Making the theme of safety and trust negotiable.
– Actively participate in the Agile coaching team.
