A Windows 10 Deployment Lead is required on a 6-month initial contract (possible extension) based in Germany Leverkusen must be a German speaker

A Windows 10 Deployment Lead is required on a 6-month initial contract (possible extension) based in Germany Leverkusen must be a German speaker

For this position the Windows 10 Deployment Lead is responsible for the co-ordination of a Windows 10 deployment. This will involve planning the migration working closely with the business to obtain buy in. You will act as the point of escalation for everything relating to the migration. You will be responsible for scheduling the migration activities and validate all of the migration data. This person will have previous experience within a Windows Deployment Lead position ideally with some Junior Project Management background or demonstrable skills. This would include leading teams to desired outcomes, liaising with senior business stakeholders and creation and updating of migration plans.

The ideal candidate should have experience in

Windows OS Upgrade/Rollout/Migration expert including OS deployment end to end Automation (ZTI)

Experience working on MDT tool (2013)

Windows OS Image mgmt. and Windows 10 lifecycle with servicing channels

Creating Image Task Sequence and Deployment Task Sequence

Proficiency with scripting languages like PowerShell, multiple packaging / deployment applications, and distribution methods

Plan and coordinate migration timeline with project team.

Handle communication with customer and manage the offshore team who will perform the migration

Create migration strategy and create migration plan

Provide support to post-migration issues

Weekly migration status reports generation

Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

Good Analytical skills

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Good knowledge of planning and executing migration projects

Good communication skills, customer interaction and team leadership
