Cloud Engineer – Global Smart Technology Company (100% Remote) (AWS & IoT)

We are currently recruiting for a very exciting organisation that are looking for several Cloud Engineers to work on an ultra-modern cloud platform. They are based in Munich and are hiring remote employees across Germany.

My client is a multi-national award-winning “Smart Technology Company” who are pioneering Real-Time Data Analytics for the Sports & Industrial sector which allows optimization through complex algorithms and IoT Devices. They are currently working with clients such as NBA teams, Champion League Football Clubs (Bayern Munich, PSG etc), BMW, Fraunhofer, Continental, Porsche and many more enterprise organisations.

They are looking for a Cloud Engineer who can automate and create services run on AWS and other hosting platforms and you will improve their CI infrastructure, automate using IaC solutions for remote maintenance & monitoring of VPN. They require someone with a good understanding of Backend Development (Python/ Node.JS), automated deployment, scaling and management of web applications, automated configuration of Linux Systems and network infrastructure.

Required Experience:

• Backend development in distributed software architectures (Python and/or node.js).
• Automated deployment, scaling and management of web applications.
• Automated configuration of Linux systems (network settings, file systems, boot loader).
• Management of network infrastructure ( IP routing, DHCP, DNS, VPN).

Nice to haves:

• Operation of CI/test automation (e.g. Gitlab CI).
• Knowledge of Frontend development of single-page applications (JavaScript).
