Starting as a Trainee Consultant at Internet Recruitment Group (later re-branded as Techpartners International), Darren very quickly became one of the most respected delivery specialists in the network infrastructure market, focusing on assisting both start-ups and established organisations. Darren was by far the most decorated consultant at TechPartners during his tenure with the company, and when Techpartners was acquired by Harvey Nash in 2000, Darren realised his dream of establishing his own company, Next Ventures.

Richard Lacey
Founding Director

Richard spent the first 7 years of his career in leading-edge software solution organisations, in a variety of sales positions. In 1997 he joined a networking-focused search firm where he focused on building their software division. After a very successful two-year period, Richard was headhunted by TechPartners International as the Business Development Manager, focusing on the software start-up sector. The Harvey Nash Group acquired TechPartners International shortly afterwards, and Richard saw the opportunity to join forces with Darren, and set up Next Ventures.

Rohit Parmar
Finance Controller

Rohit comes to Next Ventures with extensive recruitment knowledge having spent 6 years as Finance Manager of Square One Resources and 2 years managing the Finance Operations for Fawkes and Reece Recruitment. Rohit is responsible for the day to day running of the finance department at Next Ventures, ensuring timely delivery of management information to the board, back office operations and to assist with the future growth strategy of the company.
